Some of our rail sector work sits inside stations that millions of people pass through without a second thought — including a QS role and MEP fit-out cost management instruction at St Pancras International Station, covering the new HV supply ring for the station.
Live station environments carry their own version of the live-trading constraints we see in hospitality: continuous public use, safety-critical systems that can't go offline, and an operational railway that doesn't pause for construction. High-voltage power infrastructure work in that environment has essentially no room for a commercial or programme surprise.
It's a genuinely different discipline to costing a standard commercial building — and one our rail team has built specifically around that reality.
