The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one of the Middle East’s most significant landmarks — a vast white-marble structure of domes and minarets, celebrated for its craftsmanship and detail. On this project MPG was appointed in a professional consultancy capacity, bringing together engineering, design and commercial expertise.
Our role included engineering consultancy services — drawing on our in-house MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing), architectural and structural advisory capability — the preparation of design technical studies, and quantity surveying duties. Combining technical advisory with cost discipline allowed the project’s exacting standards to be supported across both engineering and commercial fronts.
On heritage and landmark buildings of this calibre, integrating engineering advisory with quantity surveying ensures that quality, buildability and cost are considered together at every stage.
